Reasonable Accommodations

Minot International Airport will provide reasonable accommodations in policies, practices, or procedures when such accommodations are necessary to avoid discrimination on the basis of disability. Such accommodations will be provided unless making the accommodations would fundamentally alter the nature of the service, program, or activity or result in an undue financial and administrative burden.

Minot International Airport will not grant requests for modification that would fundamentally alter its transportation program, create a direct threat or significant risk to the health or safety of others, or would not enable someone to access services, programs, or facilities.

Requests for reasonable accommodations for persons with disabilities must be directed ATTN: ADA/Title VI Coordinator, airport@minotnd.gov or by calling 701-857-4724, Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm.  Airport will consider and respond to all requests for reasonable modifications promptly and within ten business days.

Wheelchair Assistance

Each Airline coordinates its own wheelchair assistance and may be contacted directly. Contact your airline about the arrangements you may need added to your travel reservation.

Service Animal Relief Area

Minot International Airport's service animal relief area (SARA) is located across from Gate 4. Contact an airline agent or the number listed near the SARA entrance for access.

The SARA is for use by service dogs only.  It is not intended for pets or emotional support animals. Per ND Century Code claiming a pet or emotional support animal as a service animal is illegal.

Pets and emotional support animals are welcome to use the pre-screening pet relief area outside on the Westside of the terminal.  The pet relief area has a covered shelter adjacent to it.
