PFC Application 13-08-C-00-MOT, Change to Charge Expiration Dates (43C)

On January 14, 2022, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) acknowledged Minot International Airport's January 7, 2022 correspondence modifying the charge expiration date of the referenced application under the provisions of Section 158.43(c) of the Federal Aviation Regulations (Title 14, Code of Federal Regulations, Part 158).

DESCRIPTION OF PROGRESS:

12/10/2012 - "Proposed MOT PFC Application #8 Letter" was mailed to Air Carriers

12/12/2012 - "Public Notice - PFC" was published on the Airport's Website

01/09/2013 - Air Carrier Consultation Meeting was held at the Minot International Airport Conference Room

02/2013 - "PFC Application #13-08-C-00-MOT"

04/02/2013 - "Notice of Intent and Request to Delay Final Acknowledgement to May 17, 2013" was submitted to the FAA

05/01/2013 - Physical completion of 08-007 Preparation of Passenger Facility Charge Application.

05/13/2013 - "PFC Application 13-08-C-00-MOT Acknowledgement Letter" sent to Minot International Airport by FAA

07/01/2013 - PFC collection began at $4.50 PFC level with estimated completion date of 8/1/2023.

11/04/2013 - "PFC Application 02-06-C-00-MOT Closeout" was sent by FAA; unexpended PFCs were rolled into PFC Application 13-08-C-00-MOT.

12/31/2014 - Physical completion of 08-001 Construction and Design of Taxiway D.

12/31/2014 - Physical completion of 08-003 Relocate SRE Building - Design and Construction.

02/29/2016 - Physical completion of 08-004 Passenger Terminal Building - Design and Construction

06/30/2016 - Physical completion of 08-002 Passenger Terminal Apron - Design and Construction

08/04/2020 - "PFC Application 11-07-C-01-MOT Closeout" was sent by FAA; unexpended PFCs were rolled into PFC Application 13-08-C-00-MOT.

SCHEDULE REVISION:

Application: 13-08-C-00-MOT 
Charge Effective Date: 03/01/2012 
Charge Expiration Date: 12/01/2027

In accordance with Section 158.43, this serves as notification to all carriers required to collect PFCs at Minot International Airport (MOT) at least 30 days (3/1/2022) in advance of this change in the charge expiration date. 

REASONS FOR DELAY:

Reduced collections due to lower levels of revenue passengers than anticipated.
